Summary
We are committed to processing your personal information with trust and to respecting your privacy. We collect it to maintain your customer relationship with us (the legal basis is our contract with you, formed when you order) and, separately, for marketing (the legal basis is your consent, such as subscribing to our newsletter). Without the first, you cannot order from our webstore; the second is always optional.
Who receives it
- Our company, processing your order
- Your chosen payment provider
- The postal service or delivery company shipping your order
- Our accounting company
- Our hosting provider
How long we keep it
- Webstore: 2 years after your last order or login
- Email archives: 7 years
- Accounting material: 7 years
Your rights
- Check your information
- Correct your information
- Limit its processing (e.g. deny marketing)
- Oppose its processing
- Withdraw consent (e.g. unsubscribe)
- Submit a formal complaint to the regulator (in Finland)
You have the right to be "forgotten" only where we have no legally binding reason to keep processing your information, in practice meaning you have not placed any orders with us. You can ask us to remove your account at any time, which removes your personal information from our database. This does not remove information we are legally required to keep, such as accounting material, which we must retain for at least 7 years.

We use your personal information to:
- Maintain our customer relationship with you
- Improve the experience of using our website
- Process and deliver your orders
- Send you marketing personalized to your prior buying history
- Collect usage statistics
- Offer better customer service
We process your data based on our customer relationship with you, the usability of the website, or your explicit consent.
How your data is processed, saved, and protected
Data protection
Data security matters to us. We use suitable physical, electronic, and managerial safeguards to protect data collected through our site, including firewalls, encryption, and secure data facilities.
Processing your data
- Your data is only processed when necessary, for example to deliver an order or send our newsletter
- We use good data practices, such as minimizing the data we use and anonymizing it where possible
- We will not send you unsolicited marketing or spam, and take all reasonable steps to comply with the GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, as amended in 2004, 2011, and 2015
Storing your data
- Your personal data is held at a data center in Finland, at the premises of a trustworthy partner
- Your webstore account information is held for 2 years after your last order or login, unless you remove your account yourself first. Before we remove it, we send you a reminder so you can prevent that if you want to continue your customer relationship with us
- Some data must be kept longer where the law requires it, such as bookkeeping material, which we must retain for up to 7 years
How you can control your data
- Prevent cookies through your browser settings, keeping in mind this may prevent some features from working fully or as intended
- Clear your cookie cache at any time. This resets your identification profile based on prior behavior, though it does not fully stop data collection
- Subscribe or unsubscribe from our newsletter in your Account Settings, or by clicking the unsubscribe link included in every newsletter
- Ask us to remove your account at any time by contacting customer service. If you have placed orders with us, we cannot remove all data, such as accounting records, see the Summary and How your data is processed sections above
